Deputy Executive Commissioner, Office of Transformation and Innovation, Misti Hair

Misti Hair is the deputy executive commissioner for the Office of Transformation and Innovation (OTI) for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She is responsible for helping transform HHS into an efficient, accountable and data-driven organization as envisioned by the Texas Legislature.

Hair has been with legacy HHS systems since 2008, working in a variety of roles for the Department of Aging and Disability Services, Department of Family and Protective Services and HHSC. She previously served as OTI’s director for transformation.

Hair has a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in management and leadership from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Texas Lutheran University.
