Keys to Successful Supervision is designed for supervisors. This approximately two-hour module introduces the basic concepts of supervision and moves the learner to advanced, evidence-based methods of supervision that enhance staff's ability to make positive impacts in the lives of children and families.

The Minimum Data Set (MDS) is a standardized collection of demographic and clinical information that describes a person's overall condition. All licensed nursing facilities in Texas are required to submit MDS assessments for all residents admitted into their facility. The current version is MDS 3.0.

Texas HHS maintains CLASS choice lists for applicants, individuals or legally authorized representatives to use when choosing a Case Management Agency and Direct Services Agency. The lists are maintained for each CLASS catchment area and are updated monthly or as needed. 

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) accepts applications from prospective providers through its open enrollment procurement process to contract for the Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) Medicaid waiver program. Under the open enrollment process, contracts are awarded on a noncompetitive basis to eligible applicants meeting the qualifications and other requirements established by HHS. There is no end date or dollar amount associated with the contracts awarded through this solicitation.

The Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) Individualized Professional Development Plan (IPDP) Credentialing module is a streamlined and self-paced process for certifying an EIS employed by Texas ECI contractors. Learning activities, observations and demonstrations are directly related to the job responsibilities of an EIS by building on what you learned in MIW as you follow the story of a new child and her family.

The Global Child Outcomes module is designed to help ECI service providers: Understand the three global child outcomes Assess children for functional skills associated with each outcome Accurately assign and document ratings for each outcome

This module was designed to help ECI program personnel: Understand their role in the Family Cost Share (FCS) system, Know the legal requirements for implementing FCS, Be sensitive and culturally competent in financial discussions with families, Accurately complete FCS calculations and forms, and Review the FCS Agreement and adjust a family’s maximum charge, as appropriate.
