The SSPD program provides services in a variety of settings to assist individuals in developing the skills needed to remain in the community as independently as possible. HHSC has posted the notice “Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Transition: You Must Take Action Now!” (PDF) for program providers, financial management services agencies (FMSAs) and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers to review.

HHSC adopted rules in Chapter 748, Minimum Standards for General Residential Operations. The rules are effective Aug. 9.
