PPECC COVID-19 Emergency Rules Expiring July 21

Emergency Rules for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center Response to COVID-19 in 26 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 550.213 expire on July 21 and will not be renewed. Effective July 22, providers will no longer need to follow these emergency rules.

Providers will also no longer be required to report positive cases of COVID-19 to HHSC through the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal or Complaint and Incident Intake as of July 22.

Providers must continue to report positive cases to their local health authority.
