    The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) accepts applications from prospective providers through its open enrollment procurement process to contract for the Community Living Assistance and Support Services (CLASS) Medicaid waiver program. Under the open enrollment process, contracts are awarded on a noncompetitive basis to eligible applicants meeting the qualifications and other requirements established by HHS. There is no end date or dollar amount associated with the contracts awarded through this solicitation.

    Home Delivered Meals provides nutritious noontime meals delivered to people in their homes on a scheduled basis. Meals may also be delivered to a location other than an individual's home, provided the location is within the provider's service area and is approved by the case worker.     HHSC has posted the state’s HCBS Settings Rule final Statewide Transition Plan (STP) for public comment. Notice of the STP was published in the Jan. 13, 2023 edition of the Texas Register. However, due to errors in the publication, a revised notice regarding the STP is expected to be published in the Jan. 27, 2023 edition of the Texas Register.
