Hemophilia Assistance Program

The Hemophilia Assistance Program (HAP) helps Texans with hemophilia cover their treatment costs. Assistance is provided with blood factor replacement products or reimbursement for health insurance premium payments. While a HAP client may receive blood factor replacement or health insurance premium assistance in the same year, the client cannot receive both at the same time.

General Information

For more information about HAP, read the Hemophilia Assistance Program Client Handbook (PDF).

To learn about covered benefits, requirements and limitations, download the HAP Allowable Product and Fee List (PDF).
