This report implements the requirements of House Bill 548, 86th legislative session, 2019, to generate and monitor data on the language acquisition of children, ages eight years old and younger, who are deaf and hard of hearing and deafblind, and to report on the results of those language assessments on the Texas Education Agency, Health and Human Services Commission and Texas School for the Deaf websites. Impact of COVID-19 on mental health needs of Texas children and effective treatment strategies.
This report contains the maintenance of effort (MOE) information for each federal grant received by HHSC as of September 2021. The Health and Human Services Commission is required to submit this information to the Legislative Budget Board by October 1 and April 1 of each year for each federal grant received by the agency that has an MOE requirement.
