Gov. Abbott, HHSC Announce Medicaid, CHIP Postpartum Coverage Extended to 12 Months

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has approved Texas’ request to extend Medicaid and CHIP coverage from two to 12 months after pregnancy.
