State Supported Living Center Long Range Planning Report

Biennially, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission presents a report to the public about the provision of services at state supported living centers.

The report fulfills the requirements of Texas Human Resources Code (HRC) Section 42.0412(e), which requires the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to provide an annual report to the legislature that includes specific data concerning licensed day care centers.

Child Safety Data for Licensed Day-care Centers - Dec. 2020

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in collaboration with the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and using existing resources, are to collect, compile, and publish on HHSC's website certain data aggregated on reported incidents in licensed day-care centers that threatened or impaired the basic health, safety, or welfare of a child.

The 2021 annual Children with Special Health Care Needs Client Demographics Report provides a demographic description of both the population served by the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program and of the individuals on the program’s waiting list.

Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan - (2022 - 2023)

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. 

Medicaid Behavioral Health in Lieu of Services Annual Report -2021

HHSC must implement contract provisions allowing an MCO to offer their members certain medically appropriate, cost-effective, evidence-based services in lieu of mental health or substance use disorder services specified in the Medicaid State Plan. 

Report on the Mental Health First Aid Program - Fiscal Year 2021

MHFA is an evidence-based curriculum used to teach individuals how to help someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Health and Safety Code, Section 1001.205(b) requires HHSC to report data on the number of persons trained in MHFA and a detailed accounting of expenditures.

A Profile of Informal Caregiving in Texas - 2020

Texas Health and Human Services Commission's report on strategies implemented to collect and analyze data related to informal caregiver support services which are to be used to identify and understand the needs of informal caregivers and strengthen the delivery of informal caregiver support services.

Semi-annual Reporting of Waiting Lists for Mental Health Services - November 2021

Rider 50 requires HHSC to report semi-annually to the Legislative Budget Board and Governor regarding waiting lists for mental health services.
