This report provides updates on the improvement process for reducing the time it takes for nursing facility providers undergoing a change of ownership (CHOW) to receive payment for services to Medicaid clients.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission surveyed licensed assisted living facilities and nursing facilities to determine how many are equipped with an operational generator or comparable power source that can provide continuous electrical utility services during sever weather or emergencies.
