The 2021 JCAFS annual report contains a summary of findings from the state hospital bed utilization review protocol for fiscal year 2021 and provides recommendations on behalf of the committee.

This report highlights the IDD-BHS Department's key fiscal year 2021 accomplishments.

As developed by the stakeholder driven IDD Strategic Planning Group, the Statewide IDD Strategic Plan is a roadmap for a statewide and strategic approach for addressing gaps in IDD services and policy in the state of Texas.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. 

Rider 50 requires HHSC to report semi-annually to the Legislative Budget Board and Governor regarding waiting lists for mental health services.

This report gives information on mental health waiting lists during the first two quarters of fiscal year 2021.

The Promoting Independence Plan reports on the status of the implementation of a plan to ensure appropriate care settings for persons with disabilities, and the provision of a system of services and supports that foster independence and productivity, including meaningful opportunities for a person with a disability to live in the most appropriate care setting.
