Disability Services Action Plan

HHS has developed the Disability Services Action Plan to improve the system and delivery of services for Texans with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The plan includes 27 recommendations under four initiatives: training and support, communication, policy and rules and system redesign.

Annual Report on Forensic Services in State Supported Living Centers Fiscal Year 2019

Statute requires the Health and Human Services Commission to collect data regarding the commitment of alleged offender residents to SSLCs, including any offense with which an alleged offender resident is charged, the location of the committing court, whether the alleged offender resident has previously been in the custody of the Texas Youth Commission or the Department of Family and Protective Services, and whether the alleged offender resident receives mental health services or previously received any services under a Section 1915(c) waiver program.

This report highlights ongoing efforts as of August 2019 to achieve targeted improvements in services and supports provided to enhance compliance with the DOJ settlement agreement.

Rider 159 Annual Performance Report for the Prescription Drug Rebate Program, 2019

The report includes the prescription drug rebate outstanding principal and interest amounts, age of receivables, annual collection rates, billed amounts, dollar value of pricing and utilization adjustments, and dollars collected. This report includes a separate prescription drug rebate collection report for each managed care and fee-for-service rebate program.

Report on Short-Term Action Plan to Prevent Veteran Suicides, 2019

Texas Government Code Section 531.0999 added by Senate Bill (S.B.) 578, 85th Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, requires the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to develop a comprehensive action plan to increase access to and availability of professional health services to prevent veteran suicides in Texas.
