The following report presents information regarding all tags cited at the Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) level during licensing and certification surveys and complaint or incident investigations performed in nursing facilities during the fourth quarter of 2021 (10/01/2021 – 12/31/2021).

The report provides updates on the improvement process for reducing the time it takes for nursing facility providers undergoing a change of ownership (CHOW) to receive payment for services to Medicaid clients.

This presentation covers HHSC's implementation activities regarding SB 11 (85R) and SB 1896 (87R).

Texas Education Code, Subchapter E, Section 8.152 directs Local Mental Health Authorities/Local Behavioral Health Authorities to employ an NPMHP to serve as a mental health and substance use resource for school districts located in the region served by a regional Education Service Center (ESC) and in which the LMHA/LBHA provides services and requiring HHSC to submit an annual report on the outcomes for school districts and students resulting from the services provided by the non-physician mental health professionals.

Medically Dependent Children Program Monitoring Report is a legislatively required report containing, for the most recent state fiscal quarter, information and data related to access to care for Medicaid recipients receiving benefits under the Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) waiver program.

This report describes HHSC Value-Based Care Strategy Background, Managed Care Value-Based Payments Programs, the 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver, specifically the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program, The Directed-Payment Programs, Trends in Key Quality Measures, HIV Viral Suppression and the number of individuals who relocated to a community setting.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.

The report presents the work of the Ombudsman for Children and Youth in Foster Care for FY2021.

This report provides information demonstrating continuity of services, amount of grants awarded to each grantee, expenditure amounts for program and administration, and oversight activities relating to child advocacy programs. Additionally, the report summarizes program data, explains the effectiveness of each advocacy contract, and discusses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on both TXCASA and CACTX.

Article 46B.090(n) requires HHSC’s executive commissioner to submit a report concerning the jail-based competency restoration pilot program, including information collected and an evaluation of the outcome of the program.
