This report describes HHSC Value-based Care Strategy and Managed Care Value-Based Payment Programs, Quality Improvement Programs, Trends in Quality Measures, MCO Performance Indicator Dashboard, HIV Viral Suppression, Relocation to a Community-Based Setting and Statewide Initiatives to Improve Maternal Health Care. 

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for 2024-2025 identifies the issues that older adults, informal caregivers, and aging services providers identified as top priorities impacting older adults; the strategies HHSC, other state agencies, service providers and other community partners developed to address these priorities; and progress towards implementing these strategies.

Per RP-49, each state agency shall develop a plan for conserving energy and shall set a percentage goal for reducing its usage of electricity, gasoline, and natural gas. 

This report provides important background on complex issues, including previous relevant legislation; the current landscape of group home regulation, including HHSC boarding home standards adopted at the local level; and recommendations for policymakers on how to potentially improve health and safety standards in these and other unregulated settings.

This report describes HHSC Value-Based Care Strategy Background, Managed Care Value-Based Payments Programs, the 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver, specifically the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program, The Directed-Payment Programs, Trends in Key Quality Measures, HIV Viral Suppression and the number of individuals who relocated to a community setting.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. 

The report presents the work of the Ombudsman for Children and Youth in Foster Care for FY2021.

Article 46B.090(n) requires HHSC’s executive commissioner to submit a report concerning the jail-based competency restoration pilot program, including information collected and an evaluation of the outcome of the program.
