HHSC has become aware of a nation-wide scheme involving the sale of false and fraudulent nursing degree diplomas and transcripts from accredited Florida-based nursing schools, which were then used by individuals to obtain nursing licensure in various states.

HHSC Long-term Care Regulation will be providing a one-day training event for Individualized Skills and Socialization Providers. This event will cover the licensing process, program rules, a review of the survey process and more.

HHSC is accepting comments on the renewal of the 1915(c) Home and Community-based Services Waiver.

This training is for registered nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists who collect OASIS data.
