HHSC has adopted rules in the Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) Program, effective Feb. 26, 2023. The rules implement the federal Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) settings requirements and moved the DBMD Program rules from the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Title 40, Social Services and Assistance to Title 26, Health and Human Services .

Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership is hosting Electronic Visit Verification Portal training webinars for program providers and financial management services agencies that are required to use EVV for personal care services and home health care services.

On Friday, HHSC published a notice announcing a power outage that affected the processing of Electronic Visit Verification visit transactions. The Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership has now processed all impacted visit transactions successfully. All processing is back to normal.
