LTCR provides the latest information and answers questions on COVID-19, including infection control and emergency preparedness requirements.

CMS issued revised QSO-21-08-NLTC (PDF) . It informs surveyors of acute and continuing care facilities, including home health and hospice agencies, that use of the special COVID-19 focused infection control surveys and tools are no longer needed on a national basis.

HHSC is not currently assessing compliance with CMS’s Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination rules, published in the Federal Register on Nov. 5, 2021.
