Child Care Regulation (CCR) has proposed updates to the Criminal History Requirements Charts. The proposed updates were published in the Texas Register, and CCR is accepting public comments from March 15, 2024, through April 14, 2024.
CCR must make annual updates to the criminal history requirements charts for people requiring background checks in child care operations. These charts list the offenses that affect a person’s ability to work in certain operations. The charts also provide required actions for criminal history results. This update is per 26 TAC §745.661.
