HHSC is submitting an updated list of assisted living facilities participating in the STAR+PLUS HCBS program to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services for heightened scrutiny review, as required by the federal HCBS Settings Rule. The updated list also includes a summary of non-compliance issues and remediation activities necessary for assisted living facilities to comply with the HCBS Settings Rule.
HHSC invites members of the public, including people receiving Medicaid HCBS and their families, providers and other stakeholders to submit comments on the updated. HHSC must receive comments by 11:59pm on June 13, 2022.
