Texercise hosts are a vital component to the Texercise initiative. By hosting a Texercise program in their community, provide a means to create ongoing awareness about the benefits of regular fitness and nutrition.
Hosting a Texercise program can help your community get and remain fit and healthy.
Everything you need — program materials, reinforcement items and recognition materials — is provided free of charge to you and your participants.
All you have to do is provide the location and the enthusiasm.

Texercise Programs
Texercise offers three free programs (Classic, Select, and Nourish) that support social connections by bringing together groups of people to learn about and engage in healthy lifestyle behaviors like physical activity and nutrition. Texercise programs include:
- Texercise Classic is a 12-week fitness program that can be held anywhere participants regularly meet (e.g., senior and community centers, faith-based organizations, worksites, etc.).
- Texercise Select is a 10-week evidence-based program that consists of two, 90-minute sessions each week. The first weekly session focuses on a fitness topic and the second weekly session focuses on a nutrition topic. Beginning in the second week the program incorporates at least 30-minutes of Texercise exercises. To host a Texercise Select program individuals must be certified by passing the Texercise Select Facilitator Training with a score of 80 or higher.
- Texercise Nourish is a 12-week nutrition education program that educates and engages participants in healthy eating for healthy aging.
