Children’s Medicaid is a health care program for children in families with low incomes. Services include regular checkups with a doctor, dentist visits, medicine and vaccines.

I need health care for my children, but my family income is too high for Children’s Medicaid.

The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is a health care program for children whose families earn too much to get Children’s Medicaid but can’t afford insurance.

CHIP offers many of the same services as Children’s Medicaid but does not cover long-term services and supports.

To find out if you can get CHIP, apply for Medicaid and we’ll determine if you qualify.

I’m a low-income parent of a child with a disability, and I need health care and long-term services and supports for my child.

Children’s Medicaid and Medicaid for Children and Adults with Disabilities can provide health care and long-term services and supports, including help with activities of daily living and nursing, to children with disabilities.

When you apply, we’ll ask you about your income and your child’s disability to help determine which programs your child might be eligible for.

My child has a disability, but my family makes too much money to get Medicaid.

Medicaid Buy-In for Children (MBIC) lets families of children with disabilities “buy-in” to Medicaid if the family makes too much for Medicaid
