To help you pick the best health plan for you or your family, read your area's health plan report card.

Where do the ratings come from?

We asked people who live in your area to share their thoughts about their health plan. We also looked at the medical bills each plan sent to Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

How do I use the report card?

Look at the first column and find the issues that mean the most to you. See which plan has the highest ratings for the issues that mean the most to you. For more information, see the attached instruction sheet (PDF).

What if plans are rated the same?

Find out which plan has the doctors you already use or like. If you don't already have a doctor, find out which plan has doctors closest to where you live.

Ask family and friends if they know anything about these plans. If they do, ask how they rate the plans.

As a result of the new STAR+PLUS contract, effective on September 1, 2024, eight service areas have new MCOs. If a service area is not shown below, it is because the newly added MCOs do not have sufficient data to have star ratings calculated yet.
