The STAR+PLUS program provides basic health care services, such as doctor visits, and long-term services and supports, such as helping in your home with daily activities, home modifications, respite (short-term supervision) and personal assistance. Each health plan also provides value-added or extra services. The comparison charts below show the value-added services offered in each area of the state. Use the comparison charts to help you pick the health plan that will best meet your needs.

A couple of things to remember:

STAR+PLUS members who are covered by both Medicare and Medicaid, also called dual eligible, get only their long-term services and supports through STAR+PLUS, so there are separate value-added comparison charts for those members.
The comparison charts for members who live in a nursing home are different from the comparison charts for members who do not live in a nursing home.
