Section 260.003 required the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to develop and publish model standards for the operation of a boarding home facility and specifies that these standards must address elements such as construction, fire safety, sanitary conditions, reporting and investigation of injuries and incidents, staff education, and assessment of residents.

The Delivery of Health and Human Services to Young Texans report discusses services for children under six years of age a critical time of early development which impacts children’s long-term outcomes. The report updates the 2018 edition by highlighting a unified and collaborative approach to delivering services and improving the health of Texas children, including the delivery of these services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This report is issued by the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman to describe the program's activities, including complaint resolution on behalf of nursing and assisted living facility residents. It contains recommendations from the office regarding the rights, care and other issues related to residents.

The Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan Progress Report for Fiscal Year 2020 is prepared by the Statewide Behavioral Health Coordinating Council and discusses fiscal year 2020 progress and successes related to implementation of the Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan.
This report was prepared by the Mental Health Condition and Substance Use Disorder Parity Workgroup, and highlights the workgroup's activities and implementation of legislative directives toward development of the MHCSUD Strategic Plan.

The report complies with Section 531.0991(k) and evaluates the success of the community mental health matching grant program.
All Texas Access is a legislatively directed initiative that focuses on increasing access to mental health services in rural Texas communities. HHSC is collaborating with the rural-serving local mental health authorities (LMHAs) and local behavioral health authorities (LBHAs) to focus on diverting more Texans with mental illness away from the criminal justice system and into treatment.
This report discusses regional plans from groups of local LMHAs and LBHAs serving counties with a population of 250,000 or less. These plans are designed to increase the capacity of LMHAs and LBHAs in providing access to mental health services while reducing the cost associated with various metrics.

This report addresses requirements in Health and Safety Code §614.013 and §614.017. Health and Safety Code §614.013 and §614.017 requires HHSC to submit a report to the Legislative Budget Board no later than September 1 of each fiscal year its efforts to facilitate the exchange of information between agencies. The report must include but is not limited to: the manner in which information is exchanged between agencies, the frequency with which information is exchanged, the type of information most frequently exchanged, and the agencies most frequently involved in the exchange of information.
