The following report presents information regarding all tags cited at the Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) level during licensing and certification surveys and complaint or incident investigations performed in nursing facilities during the fourth quarter of 2021 (10/01/2021 – 12/31/2021).

This presentation covers HHSC's implementation activities regarding SB 11 (85R) and SB 1896 (87R).

The 2021 annual Children with Special Health Care Needs Client Demographics Report provides a demographic description of both the population served by the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program and of the individuals on the program’s waiting list.

This report describes HHSC Value-Based Care Strategy Background, Managed Care Value-Based Payments Programs, the 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver, specifically the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program, The Directed-Payment Programs, Trends in Key Quality Measures, HIV Viral Suppression and the number of individuals who relocated to a community setting.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.

The report presents the work of the Ombudsman for Children and Youth in Foster Care for FY2021.

Article 46B.090(n) requires HHSC’s executive commissioner to submit a report concerning the jail-based competency restoration pilot program, including information collected and an evaluation of the outcome of the program.

This report is issued by the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman to describe the program's activities, including complaint resolution on behalf of nursing and assisted living facility residents. It contains recommendations from the office regarding the rights, care and other issues related to residents.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission's report on strategies implemented to collect and analyze data related to informal caregiver support services which are to be used to identify and understand the needs of informal caregivers and strengthen the delivery of informal caregiver support services.

The Mental Health Condition and Substance Use Disorder (MHCSUD) Parity Work Group is required to submit a progress report each even-numbered year on September 1st to the appropriate legislative committees and state agencies. The progress report must include findings, recommendations, and information on the development of the Strategic Plan.
