The 2021 annual Children with Special Health Care Needs Client Demographics Report provides a demographic description of both the population served by the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program and of the individuals on the program’s waiting list.

This report describes HHSC Value-Based Care Strategy Background, Managed Care Value-Based Payments Programs, the 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver, specifically the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program, The Directed-Payment Programs, Trends in Key Quality Measures, HIV Viral Suppression and the number of individuals who relocated to a community setting.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. 

The report presents the work of the Ombudsman for Children and Youth in Foster Care for FY2021.

Article 46B.090(n) requires HHSC’s executive commissioner to submit a report concerning the jail-based competency restoration pilot program, including information collected and an evaluation of the outcome of the program.

HHSC must implement contract provisions allowing an MCO to offer their members certain medically appropriate, cost-effective, evidence-based services in lieu of mental health or substance use disorder services specified in the Medicaid State Plan. 

This report is issued by the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman to describe the program's activities, including complaint resolution on behalf of nursing and assisted living facility residents. It contains recommendations from the office regarding the rights, care and other issues related to residents.

MHFA is an evidence-based curriculum used to teach individuals how to help someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Health and Safety Code, Section 1001.205(b) requires HHSC to report data on the number of persons trained in MHFA and a detailed accounting of expenditures.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission's report on strategies implemented to collect and analyze data related to informal caregiver support services which are to be used to identify and understand the needs of informal caregivers and strengthen the delivery of informal caregiver support services.

The Internal Audit Annual Report provides a summary of its 2021 activities which complies with the guidelines set forth by the State Auditor’s Office.
