This report describes the amount of general revenue used by local mental health authorities in fiscal year 2020 to draw down additional federal funds through the 1115 Texas Medicaid Transformation Waiver. 

This is a biennial report consisting of various policy issues and recommendations written by the council members of the Value Based Payment and Quality Improvement Advisory Committee.

The report provides information about the experiences of CRCGs in their efforts to provide a coordinated approach to service delivery for children, youth, adults, and families with multi-agency needs. This report also includes recommendations for policy and statutory changes at agencies that are involved in the provision of systems of care services and recommendations for the statewide expansion of sites participating in the Texas System of Care.

This report gives information on mental health waiting lists during the first two quarters of fiscal year 2020.

HHSC is Legislatively required to develop and implement a five-year strategic plan to improve access to postpartum depression (PPD) screening, referral, treatment, and support services.

The STAR Kids Managed Care Advisory Committee 2020 Annual Report was prepared to advise the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on the establishment and implementation of the STAR Kids managed care program.

The Texas Women’s Health Programs Report Fiscal Year 2019 provides a summary of program enrollment, service utilization, and cost savings for Healthy Texas Women, the Family Planning Program, and Breast and Cervical Cancer Services.

HHSC must submit a report on electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) annually to the Governor and presiding of each house of the Legislature as required by Health and Safety Code, Chapter 578, Section 578.008(b). The report includes a summary of data received from ECT treatment providers.

TAC, Title 25, Chapter 411, Subchapter A, requires the JCAFS to submit an annual report to the Health and Human Services Commission's Executive Commissioner. This report provides a summary of the JCAFS' fiscal year 2019 meetings, activities and recommendations.

Section 260.003 required the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to develop and publish model standards for the operation of a boarding home facility and specifies that these standards must address elements such as construction, fire safety, sanitary conditions, reporting and investigation of injuries and incidents, staff education, and assessment of residents.
