Boarding Home Facilities Report - 2024
The Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 260 governing boarding home facilities Section 260.003, requires the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to develop and publish model standards for the operations of a boarding home facility, and it specifies that these standards must address elements such as construction, fire safety, sanitary conditions, reporting and investigation of injuries and incidents, staff education, and assessment of residents.

Biannual Report on Initiatives to Reduce Avoidable Emergency Room Utilization and Improve Health Outcomes in Medicaid - March 2025
Sixth biannual report to provide an overview of HHSC’s efforts to coordinate with providers to identify and implement initiatives designed to reduce Medicaid recipients’ use of emergency room services as a primary means of receiving health care benefits and HHSC’s efforts to encourage Medicaid providers to continue implementing effective interventions and best practices that were developed and achieved under the DSRIP program.
