HHSC must implement contract provisions allowing an MCO to offer their members certain medically appropriate, cost-effective, evidence-based services in lieu of mental health or substance use disorder services specified in the Medicaid State Plan. 

This report is issued by the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman to describe the program's activities, including complaint resolution on behalf of nursing and assisted living facility residents. It contains recommendations from the office regarding the rights, care and other issues related to residents.

Texas statute requires an annual report on the activities of the Mental Health Program for Veterans. This report describes the program's activities for fiscal year 2021.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission's report on strategies implemented to collect and analyze data related to informal caregiver support services which are to be used to identify and understand the needs of informal caregivers and strengthen the delivery of informal caregiver support services.

Rider 50 requires HHSC to report semi-annually to the Legislative Budget Board and Governor regarding waiting lists for mental health services.

The Mental Health Condition and Substance Use Disorder (MHCSUD) Parity Work Group is required to submit a progress report each even-numbered year on September 1st to the appropriate legislative committees and state agencies.

This report contains the maintenance of effort (MOE) information for each federal grant received by HHSC as of September 2021. 

Rider 52 requires HHSC to submit a report that provides information about actual annual expenditures from the previous fiscal year for all opioid-related programs at HHSC, DFPS and DSHS.
