In accordance with the requirement of the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, Health and Human Services Commission, Rider 15 (b)), HHSC must report financial, expenditure, and survey information regarding the use of local funds in the Medicaid program.

Texas statute requires an annual report on the activities of the Mental Health Program for Veterans. This report describes the program's activities for fiscal year 2022.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) assessed the feasibility of creating an online portal for individuals to both request and check placement on a Medicaid waiver program interest list. Through this study, HHSC determined the most cost-effective automated method for determining the level of need of an individual seeking services.
