This is a biennial report consisting of various policy issues and recommendations written by the council members of the Value Based Payment and Quality Improvement Advisory Committee.

HHSC is Legislatively required to develop and implement a five-year strategic plan to improve access to postpartum depression (PPD) screening, referral, treatment, and support services.

HHS has developed the Disability Services Action Plan to improve the system and delivery of services for Texans with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The plan includes 27 recommendations under four initiatives: training and support, communication, policy and rules and system redesign.

The STAR Kids Managed Care Advisory Committee 2020 Annual Report was prepared to advise the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on the establishment and implementation of the STAR Kids managed care program.

The Texas Women’s Health Programs Report Fiscal Year 2019 provides a summary of program enrollment, service utilization, and cost savings for Healthy Texas Women, the Family Planning Program, and Breast and Cervical Cancer Services.
