Provides information on the State Opioid Response grant received from SAMHSA and the implementation and goals of these funds through the Texas Targeted Opioid Response program.

TAC, Title 25, Chapter 411, Subchapter A, requires the JCAFS to submit an annual report to the Health and Human Services Commission's Executive Commissioner. This report provides a summary of the JCAFS' fiscal year 2018 meetings, activities and recommendations.

This report examines the frequency of pregnancy-related depression among women with a Medicaid-paid delivery, the frequency of pregnancy-related depression screening by Medicaid and Women's Health providers, the utilization of services and onset of treatment for pregnancy-related depression, and Medicaid costs during fiscal year 2016.

This second biennial report provides an update on HHS agencies’ progress on interoperability regarding its information systems that exchange protected health information within and across HHS agencies, and between HHS agencies and healthcare providers. The 2018 report builds on the initial 2016 report regarding progress and plans to improve interoperability in the state and within HHS.

As required by S.B. 271, HHSC developed this report on strategies implemented by the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services (DADS) to collect and analyze data related to informal caregiver support services in Texas.
