All Texas Access Report - December 2023

All Texas Access is a legislatively mandated initiative that focuses on increasing access to mental health services in rural Texas communities. HHSC is collaborating with the rural-serving LMHA and LBHAs to focus on diverting more Texans with mental illness away from the criminal justice system and into treatment.

State Services for the Aging: Unit Cost for Services Report - 2023

The 28 area agencies on aging (AAAs) submit quarterly performance reports that provide data on the units and costs of each service and activity they provide.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum Strategic Plan - Fiscal Year 2023

As required by Section 32.047 of the Health and Safety Code, this report contains a five-year strategic plan to improve the diagnosis and treatment of and raise public awareness of hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). 

Biannual Report on Initiatives to Reduce Avoidable Emergency Room Utilization and Improve Health Outcomes in Medicaid - August 2023

Fourth biannual report to provide an overview of HHSC’s efforts to coordinate with providers to identify and implement initiatives designed to reduce Medicaid recipients’ use of emergency room services as a primary means of receiving health care benefits and HHSC’s efforts to encourage Medicaid providers to continue implementing effective interventions and best practices that were developed and achieved under the DSRIP program.

Multi-Assistance Center Demonstration Project - August 2023

The report details the demonstration project’s provision of comprehensive medical, therapeutic, and non-medical services to adults and children with special needs and best practices of the model. 

Rider 148 EVV System Availability Report - August 2023

The 2022-2023 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Rider 148) requires HHSC to submit a monthly report on “the total hours the state EVV system was unavailable, malfunctioning, or not accessible."
