The report outlines policy changes and builds upon plans previously discussed in the Interoperability for Texas: Powering Health 2018 report. Progress regarding interoperability of information technology systems continues to expand the exchange of electronic health information within Texas.
S.B. 55, 84th Legislature, Regular Session, 2015, created the Texas Veterans + Family Alliance (TV+FA) grant program. Since the program was established, HHSC has implemented five grant phases.
