HHSC is required to develop measurements of community integration outcomes, which may include measures of opportunity (objective and subjective), community participation, community, well-being, and recovery, for the STAR+PLUS and STAR Kids Programs.

S.B. 7 requires the Health and Human Services Commission to evaluate outcomes related to transitioning children and young adults enrolled in the Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) into the STAR Kids capitated managed care program.
