Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2020-2021 Biennium

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2020-2021 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.

Rider 159 Annual Performance Report for the Prescription Drug Rebate Program, 2019

The report includes the prescription drug rebate outstanding principal and interest amounts, age of receivables, annual collection rates, billed amounts, dollar value of pricing and utilization adjustments, and dollars collected. This report includes a separate prescription drug rebate collection report for each managed care and fee-for-service rebate program.

H.B. 216 Required Legislative Report on Boarding Homes, December 2018

Section 260.003 required the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to develop and publish model standards for the operation of a boarding home facility and specifies that these standards must address elements such as construction, fire safety, sanitary conditions, reporting and investigation of injuries and incidents, staff education, and assessment of residents.

Rural Texas Pediatric Tele-Connectivity Resource Program 2018 Report

This report provides an overview of the collaborative efforts of HHSC and the stakeholder community in support of bridging the gap to pediatric specialty care through the use of telemedicine in rural Texas. It includes information on the establishment of a stakeholder workgroup, a pilot telemedicine project and the educational, technical and planning considerations involved with achieving positive outcomes and effecting meaningful knowledge transfer.

Texas Hospital Uncompensated Care Report, 2018

The report examines uncompensated care charges and costs from hospitals, uncompensated care costs by type of hospital, the funding available to offset uncompensated care costs, uncompensated care costs after funding, and the health care reform impact.
