The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for 2024-2025 identifies the issues that older adults, informal caregivers, and aging services providers identified as top priorities impacting older adults; the strategies HHSC, other state agencies, service providers and other community partners developed to address these priorities; and progress towards implementing these strategies.

Texas Government Code, Section 531.153(a) requires permanency planning for Texas children with an intellectual or developmental disability under age 22 living in institutions. he desired outcome of permanency planning is for Texas children to receive family support in a permanent living arrangement which has as its primary feature an enduring and nurturing parental relationship.
