Biannual Report on Initiatives to Reduce Avoidable Emergency Room Utilization and Improve Health Outcomes in Medicaid

Quality Monitoring Early Warning System for Long-Term Care Facilities, Fiscal Year 2021

The Quality Monitoring Early Warning System (EWS) for Long-Term Care Facilities report describes the effectiveness of the statistical model used to identify conditions in long-term care facilities that are detrimental to residents’ health, safety, and welfare. The EWS is used to prioritize activities of the non-regulatory Quality Monitoring Program.
