Statute requires the Health and Human Services Commission to collect data regarding the commitment of alleged offender residents to SSLCs, including any offense with which an alleged offender resident is charged, the location of the committing court, whether the alleged offender resident has previously been in the custody of the Texas Youth Commission or the Department of Family and Protective Services, and whether the alleged offender resident receives mental health services or previously received any services under a Section 1915(c) waiver program.
This is a report on the Mental Health First Aid Program based on compiled information from the Local Mental Health Authorities. It includes the number people trained in Mental Health First Aid. This report is required by Health and Safety Code, Section 1001.205(b).
The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2020-2021 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.
A review of restraints used in Home and Community-based Services (HCS), Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID), and State Supported Living Centers (SSLC) is provided for fiscal year 2017 and trends from 2013 through 2017 are examined.
