This executive brief is an overview of the activities and findings from the state fiscal year (SFY) 2019 Summary of Activities (SOA) report meant to highlight the key findings from prior year EQRO activities.

This report provides context for and trending of data related to the provision of appropriate services and supports for residents classified as “alleged offender residents” of state supported living centers in Texas.

The report updates the 2018 edition by highlighting a unified and collaborative approach to delivering services and improving the health of Texas children, including the delivery of these services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

HHSC is Legislatively required to develop and implement a five-year strategic plan to improve access to postpartum depression (PPD) screening, referral, treatment, and support services.

The STAR Kids Managed Care Advisory Committee 2020 Annual Report was prepared to advise the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on the establishment and implementation of the STAR Kids managed care program.

The Texas Women’s Health Programs Report Fiscal Year 2019 provides a summary of program enrollment, service utilization, and cost savings for Healthy Texas Women, the Family Planning Program, and Breast and Cervical Cancer Services.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2020-2021 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.

The report includes the prescription drug rebate outstanding principal and interest amounts, age of receivables, annual collection rates, billed amounts, dollar value of pricing and utilization adjustments, and dollars collected. This report includes a separate prescription drug rebate collection report for each managed care and fee-for-service rebate program.

Provides information on the State Opioid Response grant received from SAMHSA and the implementation and goals of these funds through the Texas Targeted Opioid Response program.
