The 2021 annual Children with Special Health Care Needs Client Demographics Report provides a demographic description of both the population served by the Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program and of the individuals on the program’s waiting list.

This report describes HHSC Value-Based Care Strategy Background, Managed Care Value-Based Payments Programs, the 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver, specifically the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program, The Directed-Payment Programs, Trends in Key Quality Measures, HIV Viral Suppression and the number of individuals who relocated to a community setting.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.

Texas Government Code Section 531.0999 added by Senate Bill (S.B.) 578, 85th Legislature, Regular Session, 2017, requires the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to develop a comprehensive action plan to increase access to and availability of professional health services to prevent veteran suicides in Texas.
