Health and Human Services (HHS) Independent Living Services (ILS) program is an outsourced program to assist consumers with significant disabilities achieve greater independence in the home and community. HHS staff provide oversight and monitoring of the contracted vendors of the Independent Living Program. This report provides an overview of consumers served, services provided, funding available and expenditures through the ILS program and current or future initiatives of HHS for the ILS program.
The 2021 Alternatives to Abortion Report includes: an introduction to the HHSC A2A program, the total number of A2A providers, total number of unduplicated clients served by each provider, a description of A2A outreach efforts by providers and HHSC, total expenditures by method of financing, total contract amounts by provider, and outcome measures included in contracts with providers.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.
