State Plan for Chronic Kidney Disease Treatment - 2025
Findings and recommendations on developing and implementing a state plan for cost-effective plan for prevention, early screening, diagnosis, and management of chronic kidney disease for the state's population through national, state, and local partners; and educate health care professionals on the use of clinical practice guidelines for screening, detecting, diagnosing, treating, and managing chronic kidney disease, its comorbidities, and its complications.

Texas Council on Long-Term Care Facilities Report - 2025
Senate Bill 1519, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019, established the Long-Term Care Facilities Council as a permanent advisory council to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to study and make recommendations for nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and intermediate care facilities for individuals with an intellectual disability or related condition.

Local Mental Health Authorities will work to collaborate with ESC to employ NPMHPs, License Master Social Workers, or Licensed Professional Counselor Associates to serve as mental health and substance use resources for school districts located in the region that the ESC and LMHA are located.

Residential Child Care Regulations Assessment Report - Dec. 2024
Texas HHSC and DFPS worked with Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) to review the child welfare regulations, including rules, standards, and contract requirements governing residential child care, including foster and adoptive homes. HHSC and DFPS agreed with PCG's assessment and accepted the recommendations listed in the assessment.
