This presentation covers HHSC's Information Technology (IT) Modernization plan, an overview of the Medicaid program, the Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) modernization project, and compliance with state regulations related to IT projects.

Medically Dependent Children Program Monitoring Report is a legislatively required report containing, for the most recent state fiscal quarter, information and data related to access to care for Medicaid recipients receiving benefits under the Medically Dependent Children Program (MDCP) waiver program.

The following report presents information regarding all tags cited at the Immediate Jeopardy (IJ) level during licensing and certification surveys and complaint or incident investigations performed in nursing facilities during the fourth quarter of 2021 (10/01/2021 – 12/31/2021).

This report provides information regarding $4.1 billion in behavioral health funding reported from SBHCC member agencies and institutions of higher education (including Medicaid behavioral health funding). The proposal links expenditures to strategies in the strategic plan to demonstrate how state appropriations will be used to further plan goals during fiscal year 2022. Strategic Plan goals, objectives, and strategies assist agencies and institutions of higher education with enhancing coordination, eliminating redundancy, and ensuring optimal service delivery.

The Housing Choice Plan is a stakeholder-led roadmap for a statewide approach for addressing gaps in housing and support services in Texas.

The 2021 JCAFS annual report contains a summary of findings from the state hospital bed utilization review protocol for fiscal year 2021 and provides recommendations on behalf of the committee.

This report highlights the IDD-BHS Department's key fiscal year 2021 accomplishments.

As developed by the stakeholder driven IDD Strategic Planning Group, the Statewide IDD Strategic Plan is a roadmap for a statewide and strategic approach for addressing gaps in IDD services and policy in the state of Texas. The plan is designed to increase awareness of the IDD population and gaps in policy, services, and funding which must be addressed to ensure optimal care is provided to individuals with IDD.

This progress report shows the SBHCC and its member agencies are making progress toward the implementation of the Texas Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan, which promotes a coordinated approach to the delivery of behavioral health services in Texas.

The Aging Texas Well Strategic Plan for the 2022-2023 biennium is submitted in accordance with Executive Order RP-42 (Appendix A). The executive order established key mandates to direct the ATW initiative and state leaders on policy planning for older Texans. The executive order also instructs the Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee to guide and support state leadership on aging-related matters and requires Texas Health and Human Services Commission to develop a biennial working plan to identify and discuss aging policy issues, guide state government readiness, and promote increased community preparedness for the aging Texas population.
