Semi-annual Reporting of Waiting Lists for Mental Health Services - November 2023

Current waiting list and expenditure data for community health services for adults and children, forensic state hospital beds, and maximum security forensic state hospital beds. This report covers quarters 3 and 4 of fiscal year 2022.

Implementation of Acute Care Services and Long-term Services and Supports System Redesign for Individuals with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability - 2023

The Legislature directed HHSC to design and implement an acute care and long tern services and supports system for individuals with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD). The 2023 annual report provides an update to the Legislature on the implementation of the IDD system redesign.

State Services for the Aging: Unit Cost for Services Report - 2023

The 28 area agencies on aging (AAAs) submit quarterly performance reports that provide data on the units and costs of each service and activity they provide. This report compiles state fiscal year 2022 performance data through completion of the 2022 closeout reconciliation and provides an accurate representation of the cost of each service.

State Hospital Forensic Waitlist Report - Fiscal Year 2023

Out of funds appropriated above, HHSC shall prepare a report on the census at each mental health state hospital with a breakdown of civil, forensic, and maximum-security patients. HHSC shall submit the report to the Legislative Budget Board, Office of the Governor, Senate Finance Committee, House Appropriations Committee, and permanent committees in the Senate and House of Representatives with jurisdiction over health and human services by October 1 of each fiscal year for the previous fiscal year.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum Strategic Plan - Fiscal Year 2023-2027

As required by Section 32.047 of the Health and Safety Code, this report contains a five-year strategic plan to improve the diagnosis and treatment of and raise public awareness of hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). This strategic plan provides strategies to increase public awareness and improve the diagnosis and treatment of HG.

Biannual Report on Initiatives to Reduce Avoidable Emergency Room Utilization and Improve Health Outcomes in Medicaid - August 2023

Fourth biannual report to provide an overview of HHSC’s efforts to coordinate with providers to identify and implement initiatives designed to reduce Medicaid recipients’ use of emergency room services as a primary means of receiving health care benefits and HHSC’s efforts to encourage Medicaid providers to continue implementing effective interventions and best practices that were developed and achieved under the DSRIP program.

Multi-Assistance Center Demonstration Project - August 2023

The report details the demonstration project’s provision of comprehensive medical, therapeutic, and non-medical services to adults and children with special needs and best practices of the model. The report is required to include a review of the one-stop shop model, providing on-site services to individuals with special needs in the Bexar County and south Texas regions.

Rider 148 EVV System Availability Report - August 2023

The 2022-2023 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Rider 148) requires HHSC to submit a monthly report on “the total hours the state EVV system was unavailable, malfunctioning, or not accessible."
