Texas began planning for the unwinding of continuous Medicaid coverage in the summer of 2020. HHSC employed a proactive, multi-pronged communications campaign to inform recipients, health care providers, advocates, and other stakeholders about its plan to unwind continuous Medicaid coverage.

Annual Report on Forensic Services in State Supported Living Centers - Fiscal Year 2023

Annual report that presents data on alleged offender resident commitments to SSLCs, including the alleged offense, location of committing court, previous involvement with TJJD or DFPS, and if the person is currently receiving mental health services or previously received any services under a Section 1915(c) waiver program.

Texas State Plan for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families - October 2022

Texas operates a TANF block grant assistance program on a statewide basis in accordance with state law and state policy. The State intends to modify this State Plan whenever such modification is deemed to be in the best interest of the State.
