Reports and Presentations

MHFA is an evidence-based curriculum used to teach individuals how to help someone who may be developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Health and Safety Code, Section 1001.205(b) requires HHSC to report data on the number of persons trained in MHFA and a detailed accounting of expenditures.

Report provides legislative and non-legislative recommendations of the Texas Brain Injury Advisory Council. This report was prepared by members of the Texas Brain Injury Advisory Council. 

Texas statute requires an annual report on the activities of the Mental Health Program for Veterans. This report describes the program's activities for fiscal year 2021.

Rider 50 requires HHSC to report semi-annually to the Legislative Budget Board and Governor regarding waiting lists for mental health services.

The Mental Health Condition and Substance Use Disorder (MHCSUD) Parity Work Group is required to submit a progress report each even-numbered year on September 1st to the appropriate legislative committees and state agencies.
