Senate Bill 1621, 86th Legislature, Regular Session, 2019. Required HHSC to develop a strategic plan for improving rural hospital reimbursement through Medicaid. The strategic plan was submitted to all parties on January 1, 2020. The bill also requires HHSC to submit a progress report for that plan every even numbered year.
