Residential Child Care Regulations Assessment Report - Dec. 2024
Texas HHSC and DFPS worked with Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) to review the child welfare regulations, including rules, standards, and contract requirements governing residential child care, including foster and adoptive homes. HHSC and DFPS agreed with PCG's assessment and accepted the recommendations listed in the assessment.

Annual Report on Quality Measures and Value Based Payments - Fiscal Year 2024
This report describes HHSC Value-based Care Strategy and Managed Care Value-Based Payment Programs, Quality Improvement Programs, Trends in Quality Measures, MCO Performance Indicator Dashboard, HIV Viral Suppression, Relocation to a Community-Based Setting and Statewide Initiatives to Improve Maternal Health Care. The report also includes information on the Quality Monitoring Early Warning System for Long-term Care Facilities.

HHSC studied the financial and utilization data of licensed Texas hospitals that generate revenue from public sources and programs and/or benefit from tax exemptions or the use of public debt. HHSC contracted with a third party, Myers and Stauffer LC, to assist in completing this report.

Non-Medical Health-Related Needs of Certain Pregnant Women Report - 2024
Relates to improving health outcomes for pregnant women under Medicaid and the Thriving Texas Families program. A one-time status report on bill implementation and the first of the biennial reports summarizing the non-medical health-related needs of pregnant women screening data collected by MCOs and TTF providers during the previous biennium. HHSC consolidated the two required reports that relate to the same subject matter.
