Report on the Continuity of Care for Women Aging Out of CHIP and Medicaid

This report provides information on the number of individuals aging out of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) who are able to maintain coverage under another Medicaid program, including Healthy Texas Women (HTW), through the agency’s administrative renewal process. It also includes recommendations to improve connecting individuals aging out of Medicaid or CHIP to enrollment in HTW.

STAR Health Psychiatric Rate Evaluation

This evaluation of rate methodology and payment rates for psychiatric services provided to children enrolled in the State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) Health program is submitted according to the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, Health and Human Services Commission, Rider 32).
