As required by Section 32.046, Texas Health and Safety Code, this report contains the fiscal year 2022 update on a five-year strategic plan to improve access to maternal depression screening, referral, treatment, and support services. This year’s plan also includes reporting on the prevalence, screening, and treatment of postpartum depression, as required by the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, HHSC, Rider 71).

Report on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) relief funding healthcare providers and institutions have received.

This report provides information on the number of individuals aging out of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) who are able to maintain coverage under another Medicaid program, including Healthy Texas Women (HTW), through the agency’s administrative renewal process. It also includes recommendations to improve connecting individuals aging out of Medicaid or CHIP to enrollment in HTW.

This evaluation of rate methodology and payment rates for psychiatric services provided to children enrolled in the State of Texas Access Reform (STAR) Health program is submitted according to the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II, Health and Human Services Commission, Rider 32).
